Head Coach Nellie maddox

Nellie Maddox is from Eatonton, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Special Education from Middle Georgia State University and her M.Ed in Education from Walden University. Maddox joined LOA in 2019 and teaches 5th grade ELA & Math.

Her cheerleading background spans over 10 years. In high school, she served as a Competitive & Sideline Cheerleader at Putnam County High School and an All-Star cheerleader at Lake Country All-Stars in Milledgeville, Georgia . In college, she was a sideline cheerleader for the Middle Georgia State University’s football  & basketball teams. After graduating college, she began assisting Mrs. Blythe in coaching at Lake Oconee Academy.

She loves spending time outdoors  with her family and friends.
