Varsity Boys Cross Country

Carina Baxley is a sixth-year coach at Lake Oconee Academy. She serves as the Middle School Instructional Coordinator with a background in teaching ELA.  She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2019 with a BSEd in English Education and a BA in English.  She earned her MEd in English Education from UGA in 2020.  She has a passion for running, recently completing her first marathon and racing in half-marathons across the country.

Baxley was born and raised in Randolph, New Jersey where she played soccer and basketball.  She also swam, ran track, and cross country.  She moved to Georgia in 2015 to attend UGA and now lives in Greensboro with her husband Jacob, and their dog, Chesney.
